A Word, Guv'na?

It has been quite a while since I've featured a word post here.  High time for another, don'cha think? =]

camaraderie
Webster's 1828 Dictionary
noun  a spirit of friendly good fellowship

From the French word camarade meaning "comrade."  A comrade is "a fellow, a mate or companion; an associate in occupation." (Webster's 1828)

To each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass, and a book of rules,
And each must make, ere life is flown,
A stumbling block or a stepping stone.
