Why is it so difficult to describe one's self?

As seen in my blog title, my name is Sarah, which means "princess" in Hebrew.  *^ - ^*  (To be honest, I'm 99.9% sure I'm a Disney princess & that I married my Beast---so my name is rather fitting, I think. *haha*)

Why the Plain & Average name, you may ask?  Welllll. . . I am a quiet sort of person---I can be rather goofy, clumsy, & awkward.  I stand 5'5" barefoot, so I'm not really tall, but not really short either---hence, the average.  If asked to describe myself, I would blank out & stammer something unintelligible & quite possibly redden considerably in the facial area.  But eventually I would manage something along the lines of: I am a woman of two & thirty (*internal screaming*) years, a lover of stories, bright colors, laughter, sunshine, glitter, & sprinkles.

I am somewhat a total book dragon, movie freak, an aspiring author, poet (with three published poems!), and crafter of things.  I enjoy FOOD, all the fandoms! and so much more.  Give me a beach or my mountains, sunscreen, a book, my favorite chocolate-mint tea, and I AM GOOD TO GO.

I strive to be a Hufflepuff-loyal friend, a genuine encourager, and a shining Light for my God & King.  My prayer every day is to be a light & a blessing to anyone and everyone I meet, that I might show Christ to those around me through my love, His heart, & actions.

On October 8th, 2016, I married my best friend & my true love, Evan, and we celebrated the best day EVER with our family & friends.  He tells me I am beautiful, especially on the days I DO NOT feel it.  I see & hear my heavenly King in his words, his actions, & his eyes.  He's my Mr Darcy---without a doubt!---and I, his Lizzie. <3

Going on eight years of marriage now, Evan & I are Mama & Daddy to Gabriel James, Heidi Elizabeth, and Aidan Leander.  My God is so good!

This parenting thing is certainly a challenge at times, but all of my halflings are heart-melters & such blessings to my huband & I.  <3  I have the best job in the world.

An average woman, sharing a bit of her mama-life & bookish things.  I have a dream to someday publish a book or three (if ever they are finished. . .), but it will be all in God's timing & will.  Perhaps someday. . .  :]
