Encouragement

Hulloo!

What?? No Name post???
Yeah. . . I know.  I kinda. . . er, forgot.  Heheh.

So, I decided to share an update instead!
Yep.  While my blogging schedule has not happened as I desired (there's not enough TIME in the day to do what I want/need to do!!), and lifey things always seem to get in the way (excuses, excuses), it's quite obvious I'm still working on the managing-my-time thing.  ;D

Aaaaaannnnnddd, I realized last week that I've posted absolutely NOTHING about myself and the baby.  I mean, other than announcing that I'm now a mama-to-be (Wow!), I've not shared a thing about my journey so far.

And to be honest, I wasn't sure how you, my dear readers, would take it.  Would you even WANT to know?  Even though you possibly aren't even close to thinking of a family of your own and it's all you can do to focus on school?  Seriously, I'd love to know what you think.

For now, I'll move on with my update.  :]

We have reached the halfway mark at 20 weeks!!
WOW.  It doesn't seem like that much time has passed, but then again, it does seem to have gone by rather quickly.

According to an app on my phone, Baby is approximately the size of a Belgian Endive.  (Yeah, I totally had to look that one up too. . .)

He/she is about ten inches long now, weighing in at 10.5 ounces.  And is extremely active!  I cannot tell you the joy it is to feel the little "flutters," as it is called, of tiny kicks in my tummy.  :]

This coming Sunday, we are having a gender reveal party, and I can HARDLY wait!!! My hubby already knows---and won't tell me a SINGLE thing---as he broke down at the ultrasound visit and HAD TO KNOW once he saw the tiny hands and feet and then the beautiful profile. *points below*  I elected to wait, despite the fact I'm DYING TO KNOW.  I will definitely try to post pics next week!!

So precious!

In all honesty, I feel awkward sharing such things.  But this is my life now!  I've always hoped this little blog could serve as encouragement and inspiration for other young (and even much younger) ladies.  If I can share a small glimpse of what your futures could look like and give first-hand stories of my experiences, then that's what I'd love to do!  But really, I would wish to do so only if there's an honest interest.

So honestly:
Are you apt to read such posts?  Or would you be one to click the link, skim the words and photos, and move on?  (Absolutely nothing wrong with that at all, please don't misunderstand me!)

Thanks for dancing by, y'all.  I hope you have a marvelous week!
Welcome, glorious Spring weather!!!

To each is given a bag of tools,
A shapeless mass, and a book of rules,
And each must make, ere life is flown,
A stumbling block or a stepping stone.
